Value Engineering

Value engineering is the exercise of reviewing architectural or engineering plans to identify areas of potential cost savings. This could mean substituting products or construction methods to save the client money. A lot of times the client does this naturally trying to save money. They select a cheaper tile, a lower grade of appliance package. But I want you to understand there are things that you can substitute that you never see. That's where this exercise really pays off.
